Connecting people to their natural heritage
Talking Trees works in partnership with organisations to run projects with community groups. Projects include:
• Trees and People
An exciting, inter-generational project researching, sharing and celebrating people’s relationship with trees. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
• Woodland course for children on the autistic spectrum
In collaboration with the Autistic Support Network Lewes and funded by Lewes Town Council.
• Adults with learning disabilities
Two woodland projects developing creative and practical skills. Funded by Big Lottery.
• The Enchanted Garden
We worked with primary schools, Great Dixter and Feral Theatre to explore how creativity helps us learn about nature. Watch The Enchanted Garden video.
• Sure Start Children Centre
Families project with Dunbar Children’s Centre.
